Hardwood Floor Sanding & Refinishing in New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania

THE FULL PROCESS

From Worn to Worthy

We start with a careful inspection of your existing floors to determine the right grit sequence for sanding. This matters more than most people realize sanding too aggressively removes valuable wood that can never be replaced; not enough and the imperfections stay behind. Our technicians know the difference and approach every floor accordingly.

We use dustless sanding systems that capture over 95% of airborne particles, keeping your home and family protected throughout the process. After sanding the floor to a smooth, even surface, we apply your chosen stain or preserve the natural wood tone if you prefer followed by 2 to 3 coats of professional-grade finish.

The result is floors that look new, feel smooth underfoot, and are protected against daily wear for years to come. Most homeowners are surprised by how different their existing floors can look without replacing a single board.

When Refinishing Makes Sense

Refinishing is the right call when your floors have surface scratches, dull finish, minor stains, or an outdated color but the wood underneath is still structurally sound. It costs significantly less than full replacement and extends the life of your floors by many years.

If your floors have deep gouges, warped boards, or significant structural damage, refinishing alone may not be enough. In those cases we assess whether a combination of repair and refinishing is the better path. We give you an honest answer during the estimate visit.
